PDO Mono Threads are a smooth suture material that is inserted by needle just under the skin which dissolves over time. This is natures magical way to increase new collagen which is responsible for tightening and thickening the skin. The rejuvenation effects may be seen from just 6 weeks and last 6-12 months.
Topical or local anaesthetic is applied to the area prior to insertion. The skin is not cut so suturing is not required. Side effects such as bruising and swelling may occur. Treatment may take between 30-60 minutes depending on the area treated.
Mono Threads are smooth they provide improvement to fine lines and wrinkles by stimulating natural collagen production and tightening the skin. Over time the PDO is naturally absorbed by the body. Insertion of these in a mesh like pattern may tighten the skin, they do not produce a lift effect.
